I got the article Off of facebook, thinking if a friend put it up there its worth the read right? I failed to realize that the friend put it up to warn people it was a scam. She didn't address it that way so I assumed it wasn't, and that was my first mistake.

The site looks like an actual news article, it sounds legit and even has other news stories they have reported off to the side. As I'm reading this article It states that we should be aware of scams, because a lot of companies will try to scam you out of your money, but thankfully this news article did the research and found two websites that are VERY legit.
Tha'ts the scam obviously, telling people about the scam and claiming yours is not. After finishing the article, I thought for a few moments and then decided to sign up for the free trials. The first was acai berry free trial the second Max cleanse pro. Both were supposed to be 1.95 shipping and handling. I click on the first site, fill out the info, then its says I will be charged 6.95 shipping and handling. I assume the article was old and that the regular price was back up.
I go ahead with my order, and proceed to order the Max pr cleanse also. I print the receipts and got to my online bank account to check my balance. Low and behold instead of 6.95 this company is trying to charge me 49.95!

Its late in the evening so I decide to call the number in the morning, and when I finally do get hold of someone, they tell me it was a charge for a membership. I say I didn't sign up for a membership and the agreement says nothing about one. I tell them to cancel immediately and lose all my information. a few days later my bank, a wonderful bank by the way, alerts me that they believe fraud is happening with my account, They tell me these two companies have tried to take over 300 dollars from my account! thankfully we only keep money in the checking when we have to pay bills, so the scam didnt work and they didn't get a dime from me! I had my card shut down and a new one sent out.

I definitely learned my lesson about shopping online! I will be tediously more careful from now on. I wanted to warn other people out there of this particular scam!!
