Damsel White Label Dress Debacle Houston Texas

Natalie Harris is the owner and designer of Damsel White Label. She does not deliver what she promises and i hope that others that use her do not get screwed like i did. I found Natalie Harris at the Houston Bridal Extravaganza show. I live 2 hours away from her shop.

I went to her Jan 2014  for my wedding dress and was assured that everything would turn out great. Upon receiving the dress Sept, 2014 it was dirty. There were multiple lines-looked like pen marks-and dirt on the dress. I did try it on before taking it home however i was in a rush because she was late to the appointment and i had to leave to get my daugher. I let her know, took it to the cleaners, and had it cleaned. She stated that she did not know what caused the marks and that her seamstress didn't use pen so we chalked it up to a manufacture defect. She did not offer any type of compensation for the dirty dress.

I was suppose to get my veil shipped from her the next day. It showed up 4 weeks later and was not what we had discussed. The veil was twice as long as discussed and the comb was on backwards. Every week for 4 wks she told me that the veil was in the mail. It wasn't until my mother called her, did she ship. During the 4 wk time she refunded me $400 compensation for a dress i paid $2700 for. This was for the damages on the dress. 

Since i received the veil 2 wks before my wedding, i was unable to do bridals. They had been scheduled but were cancelled due to the delay of the veil.

The worse part of this whole experience with Natalie was that my dress fell apart at my wedding. The back completely ripped apart before i even took pictures after the ceremony. I had it on for 3 hrs and had to take it off because the bottom skirt was falling apart. She was notified of the poor craftmanship and did nothing to try to right her wrong. She told me that i should have notified her when it happened and she would have come to fix it or had someone local fix it. Keep in mind my wedding was on a Saturday at 530pm. I live 2 hrs from her so having it fixed was improbable.

The whole experience with Natalie was absolutely horrible. I wish i would have never used her. Now everytime i look at pictures from my wedding i see pictures of a dress that is falling apart. I would never recommend her to anyone else. I just don't understand why a $3,000 dress can't hold up to a wedding. The simple loop and bustle held up without a problem. Her seamline fell apart. This dress was poorly constructed and i feel like i've been robbed.. It makes me so sad everytime i look at my wedding pictures. If there is anything i could change, it would have been my wedding dress.  I contacted her multiple times and she told me that it was not her problem that my dress fell apart and she would not take responsibility.

Please take my advice and do not use Natalie Harris with Damsel White Label.
