DANA JOHN PLATT ECOMMERCEGROWTHCONSULTING.COM Dana wanted me to send him money before he got started on a website , my situation changed and I didn't need the website after all , he refused to send me any money at all ... and told me to " F*** Off " .. I understand him wanting to keep a portion of it but not all of it .. Internet

Dana and I talked about building a website for my company , he stated he needed all of the money before he could get started , I didn't think too much about it at the time because a friend of mine recommended him ... so I sent him the money to build the site ... however my situation changed and I didn't need it after all ... I called him up and told him my situation ... at the time I expected to give him something for his trouble but NOT half of the monies ... he said he would think about it ...

The next day I get a text stating that he would keep half of the monies and send the rest in 90 days ... I was alittle taken about by the amount and time  , but he stated that he " thought " about the website for 8 hours and his time was expensive ... this to me was totally unacceptable ... 

I knew I would have to pay him something but 50 percent was beyond rediculous ... I tried to call him numerous times but he wouldn't commnicate with me and finally sent me a email that stated " f*** off " in so many words and then used the term " f*** off " ... and then threaten me ...

He seemed like a nice business man at the beginning , but I should have been more persisitence in his work ... I asked him to send me some website's he'd done but he never did ... this was my fault for not listening to myself to get out right then and there ... howevver everything was done on the phone and I didn't think it would be a bid deal ...  

In the mean time he has changed his website , and I've done some research on him and found 3 other people that have listed him as a scam business owner as well ... live and learn ... be careful ... if you have the option I would recommend you go shop some more and move on ...

Dana and I have reached a understanding and he has followed through and has made good on his promise to make it right between us ... This was a misunderstanding on both of our parts and it has been resolved . I respect Dana for handling this whole thing like a true business man and look forward to watching his career take off.  James Wood

Dear James "Jim" Wood.

I am very sorry that we had a business disagreement over a small amount of cash, but you are taking this way too far, as I have already asked you many times to cease contacting me, harassing me, slandering me online, and attempting to extort me multiple times in multiple ways. I am 28 years old and beginning my career in business, so I am learning valuable lessons about who to choose to do business with, too. We should have had a contract, we both agree on this, but defaming my name online isn't the mature & fair solution. I know this in my heart. I hope you stop. I am a good man with a big heart and those closest to me know this to be true. I am also a strong man now, who was been bullied when I was in middle school by guys like you, so I am remembering this feeling, but now it is the adult version and you are taking this way too far. This is my final, most sincere apology that I can give you.
 
I am a legitimate businessman, educated in some of the finest institutions in the world, and don't take kindly to slander.
 
I do not wish to take legal action against you, nor do I want any further contact with you, so I look forward to restoring peace to your life, to my own, and to this situation so that it does not take up any more of either of our energies or time. Any further contact with me, against my own volition, will trigger legal action on my end. This warning is final, James "Jim" Wood, if that is even your real name.
 
Refrain from business with this man, he will find a way to take your good name and slander you, as any further comments will show the world from Mr. James "Jim" Wood, a middle aged man who broke our contract and wants to blame the honest businessman thirty years his junior because he wasn't able to take ownership or responsibility for misunderstanding the terms of a verbal contract that were never, ever put into writing. This was both of our faults, since the recommendation to do business came from a mutual friend, so neither of us though anything much of it, until you renegged two weeks after paying me, which you could barely figure out how to do in the first place. 
 
Let the record show, in no uncertain terms, that James "Jim" Wood & Dana John Platt have now each stated their views here.
