DJ Event Planner is an Online Event Management System for Event Planners. As part of their price package, included is a Topic forum for General Conversations, Bug Reporting and Wishlist (for Features) Topics. In the policies, is DOES NOT state that there is a limit to the number of Wishlist Items or Topics I post. Also, Troy Ackerman on the Sign-Up Page indicates that Email support is provided for the owner of the company only and not END USERS (Which Would be our Employees). However, today he sent me an email stating that I am no longer permitted to post Topics or send him Messages unless I pay him more money. Troy does not even have set plans for Support to begin with, so how do I know how much to pay (if i was going to?). Then, Troy Ackerman disabled my posting capabilities.

Troy has created a Nice Program that makes my job as a Disc Jockey 100x easier. However, he is very hard to trust to deliver on what he promises. Troy is also the owner of Dancin' Tracks DJ Service. Over the last several months he had told me via email that he does not care what I think, his customers think or his users think..."IT'S HIS PROGRAM" and if we don't like it he is willing to provide a prorated refund dispite the user losing all of their data.

I signed up with DJ Event Planner to begin with because of the support that Troy promised to provide to his users (customers). However he has not fully delivered on his promise, because he needs money because his DJ service is slow. Troy is also very rude to all of the users with a "I Don't Care" attitude.

I will be switching to XXXXXXXXX this coming November. It will be a lot of work to transfer data, but I am willing to do the extra work to avoid the Poor Customer Service and Empty Promises. Compared to Competing Products which have 500+ users, Troy only has 194 users total and he does more advertising for his products than what his competitors do, if that tells you anything. As a fellow DJ to the public...stay away from Troy Ackerman and Dancin' Tracks D.J. Service. If he treats his Management Software users like he does, I do not want to imagine how he operates Dancin' Tracks DJ Service.

Troy has received many previous complaints but refuses to correct the situations. I do not want refunds or anything, but the purpose of this message is to make sure no one else goes through this awful experience.

Me and Mr. Troy Ackerman this morning talked via telephone and came to a resolution that this situation was a simple misunderstanding. Troy has apologized to me for any inconvenience that he may have caused to my business and I have done the same for him in return by advertising this update. As of right now, everything is perfect and the misunderstanding has been cleared up. Please void this report.
