Danielle Where did the justices system go?!!! Port Arthur , Texas

My name is Danielle & I'm a single mother of 2 girls. My situation happen about 2 months ago my youngest daughter & I went & stayed a night with my boyfriend & my boyfriend & I got woken up at 1:00 o'clock in the morning by my youngest (13 mths old at the time). She rolled off his couch & onto a coffee table. The coffee table was not your normal table. The top had a glass, but it was missing because his son broke it, but under the table it have bars going crisscross. Well, like a concern mother I took her to the er. The er doctor didn't believe my story & said that someone abused her. So he call the local Cps & the sheirf department. The Cps manipulated my mother & I & made me think that I had to sign my kids over to my mother. The kicker to my situation is that i cant have any contact with my kids & they assumed that my boyfriend might have hurt her, but they have no witnesses & no proof that he could have done it. The only thing they got is that I wasn't sure what time he went to bed because I went to bed before he did & that we are a new couple & all of this happen at his place.

And another kicker about my situation is if her hurt my daughter like they assumed he did than why does he still have his son.

Oh, I get that these people have to do their job & there is precedures that they have to follow by, but my case worker that I have now has not return any of my mothers or my daughters dad phone calls. I had to file a complaint on her about her not return any of my calls either, but now she does. But the thing is she does not explain anything to me. She keep on coming up with accuse for everything & her favorite accuse is I have to talk to my boss. And when I ask her when will I hear from her again. She tell me in a few days. Which to me that's like 3 days top, but no I have to call her after like 5 days later & she still hasn't talk to her boss, so that's another 5 days that I won't get an answer from her. My case worker has not came to my place & I just met her for the very first time on december 11 & this has been going on since october 25. So now she want to transfer me to another case worker. So I can take parenting classes. The new girl already came to my place to make an assessment on me & she is very baffled she has waited this long to try to transfer my case to her & she does not understand why I can see my kids & she thinks it should have gone this far & this is after she read my case. Yes, I wish this new case worker was on my case now, but she can't doing anything until it gets transfer to her.

My thing is I'm not a very confrontational person. I've been more then understanding & patient with these people & I get they get overwhelm with, but if they say that your kids safety is my number one priority than why do they drag their feet. It seem to me that once 5 o'clock hits your kids safety is on the back burner. I mean I think they are wasting our taxs dollars on bs cases like mine. Why don't the go after the people who actually abuse their kids? Is this what our justice system gone to? This make me sick! They attack the innocent parents or people & protect the guilty parents or people. My case inpoint the mother who got away of murdering her daughter in flordia.

I'm not saying I'm the perfect parent. I try to do my best as a single mother & the only guilty thing that my boyfriend & I did is not put her in a playpen. This kinda stuff has never happen to me. I have never gotten in trouble before. I love my kids & my boyfriend adores them. But I was alway taught you are innocent until proving guilty, but that was a lie!!! This right here make my not trust the justice system & not want to bring my kids to the er anymore. I know for a fact a lot of my family & friends will not bring their kids to the er unless they have to & also we are now scared that we try to disaplen our kids because if we did it the wrong way that Cps will say we abused our kids. What are we supposed to do now? Let our kids get away with murder now, keep our kids in a bubble so they can't have accident!!! What has our nation come to?

I just think some of Cps worker should be a parent than maybe they will understand kids do have accident, they do get bumps & bruises. That is part of being a kid!!!
