Dan admits this because the same noise was there , after they replaced the front wheel bearings-the noise was coming from the rear wheel bearings, which they never even checked because most of the time it is the front. After several attempts at reasoning with Dan about replacing the wrong parts that were not causing the trouble, Dan is just impossible. He admits he didn't thoroughly diagnose the origin of the noise, and just jumped in on replacing the front wheel bearings without even listening to the rear wheel bearings. He feels he owes me no adjustment to the $718. I left the shop with the exact same issue as when I brought it in. I had to schedule another day off from work to deal with it. And the cost of getting the rear wheel bearings on one side replaced.

For Dan to  lie about the problem being fixed is unacceptable. For Dan to just hang up on me because he doesn't want to deal with his mistake is unacceptable.

ANY place can seem great when things go as they should. But when things go wrong, and mistakes are made, that's when the TRUE colors come out. How do they deal with treating the customer that they have wronged? To make a mistake is human. To make it right takes real integrity . Dan lacks the  integrity to do the right thing.
