David Drewett dba 1-877-ibuyhouses and z1 Home Buyers Inc will have you sign a contract to buy your house "as is' then refuse to honor the contract, pay an agreed on good faith deposit, or return phone calls.

He will bind you to a contract so that you can not sell to anyone else, give you a closing date, tell you his attorney will call you for information for a title search, etc ....all lies....and then refuse to return phone calls, buy your house, or pay the good faith deposit. He is arrogant, sarcastic, and rude when confronted. I do not advise doing business with him or the companies he represents.

David Drewett is not being truthful and all the texts, emails, and recorded phone conversations have been saved as proof. David insisted on getting a contract signed before he would come see the house and then refused to honor his contract or pay the deposit and release me from it. The house therefore was tied up and could not be sold to another investor until after the closing date on the contract which an attorney advised me that I had to attend but which his attorney assured me was not going to take place. David refused to speak to me and his attorney wanted no part of me showing up at his office for the closing with a news reporter.

The house had been owned for 41 years by my brother, a Vietnamn Veteran who was disabled and died of lung cancer in May so for Drewett to call it a "drug house" is dispicable. David was told that the house was old, very small, needed a complete rehab, had no central heat and air, and that there were currently tenets in it. His reply was that he didn't care, that he would buy it "as is" and that, "unless it has a 6 ft hole in the roof I want that house!" I asked that a good faith deposit of $500 be added to the contract in case he tied it up and didn't close and he agreed saying, "I always close, just ask my attorney." ( I later did, and his attorney assured me there was a contract on the house but no title search had been ordered and there was no closing scheduled).

My motion anxiety disorder limits my driving so David had picked me up to go see the house and he agreed that I had not misrepresented it and said his attorney would call me within 3 days for information for a title search. He even sent me a printable pdf file of the contract after he saw the house and texts and emails proof this. His only concern was that the tenets be out. Then all communication stopped and David refused to answer my questions as to why. The tenents were out that weekend, the old furniture in the house was hauled away that week and the mechanics tools and car parts 'littering" the garage were sold or scrapped as well. Only a working $1600 spa remained in the house.

Contrary to me being "unstable and difficult to work with" once the closing date had passed and I was free to sell the house to another investor we closed within days with no hassle or complaints on either side. The buyer requested that I leave the spa for him and I was happy to do so.

House Misrepresented

AUTHOR: David - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, July 27, 2015

Carol Misrepresented the house in which she was selling. After going to pick Carol up at her house and driving her to look at the property she wanted to sell, that is when the truth came out about the house.  The house is a drug house, "the tenants smoke pot all day".  It was littered with so much trash it would cost thousands of dollars to have it all removed.  Carol said she was receiving many calls from investors interested in the house.  I told her to sell it to one of them.  Carol refused to talk to me and requested that all correspondents be done through my attroney.  Carol has an anxiety disorder, which she told me and my attroney about, plus everyone in his office.  My attroney told Carol in an email, "Based upon the content of your message, I am withdrawing from any further efforts in this matter.  I have been acting only in behalf of the buyer, attempting to diffuse and resolve a difficult situation by bringing this transaction to a successful closing.  Unfortunately, the content of your message to me leads me to believe that, as the buyer's attroney I will be unable to work with you and I am therefore choosing to proceed no further".  Carol is a very difficult to work with and is not stable.
