Bought a used car from David Maus Toyota. I thought they were just great at the time, for offering free oil changes and car washes. But what a fool I was. Don't fall for the "free oil change" scam. When they give you your car back, it won't have much oil in it. Just enough to make it for a little while and then your service light will come on and you will think something else is wrong ( not thinking it could possibly be LOW on oil, after just having an oil change done by them).
I guess they call that "Building a Job". Anyway after just having an oil change done by David Maus service dept., I am driving down the road 3 weeks later and the service light came on and then I heard a knocking sound, and guess what?.....I have to get my car towed into a reputable shop, and it is completely out of oil! Now I need to buy a new engine, but it won't be from David Maus Service Dept. My mechanic said he could not say for sure, but it looked like someone had left the plug loose? I think I will be done with their FREE STUFF.

You go to the "Whatever It Takes" place to get an oil change, right? While you're there when you pick up the car YOU DON'T check the oil to be 100% positive they did the job. You get home and still YOU DON'T check the oil level. After one week, still you DON'T CHECK your oil which is a basic part of checking fluids as a responsible car owner should do. Then you drive several MORE WEEKS and still you DON'T CHECK your oil level! Oh, but it all THEIR fault, right?
