I telephoned the Dawson McAllister and tried to talk tohim live on the air.

I was schedulled to, having been screened by a hopeline coach, who caled me back to talk live on the air.  Suddenly, her voice came on and tld me she didn' believe myproblems were relevant, and I would not get to talk live on the air with Dawson McAllister.

I called back and got a message that mynumber had been blocked probably for prank calls, whichwere against the law.

There is no evidence provided for the claims made above by Dean Crosby, D.D. (Kihei, HI). There is no proof of deceipt, overstatement of cost, urgency of projects, fraud, or that any insult was delivered via email by Dawson. Mr. Crosby could have easily pasted that insult into his message if it were real, but he didn't.

I did an internet search for Dean Crosby, D.D. of Kehei, Hawaii. You would expect to find at least one dentist by that name in the world much more in a town of 17,000 if it was a real name. My search yielded no hits except the unsubstantiated claim above. The name Dean Crosby is likley as fictitious as the claim is.

Also, it's stated Dawson is false to say he hears from God, and it can be PROVED. But the claim that it can be proved is itself easily DISPROVED. Because how do you go about proving God doesn't speak to someone unless you yourself hear from God? Yet Dean says he can prove that can't happen. He disproves his own proof!

I notice that those who have positive remarks to make about this dishonnest salesman,report experiences with him that go back years ago and in one case decades ago.

I have followed this man's ministry for many years.Until just several years ago it was a valid and worthwhile ministry.However,after he hired a new production company to promote his ministry,it quickly turned into a decitful business.On a weekly basis Dawson and his staff dream up new projects that he claims need immediate funding, requiring him to make repeated calls for money during his radio broadcasts.In between his begging for cash he spends a great deal of time promoting his organization and himself and falsly claiming that God is speaking to him,lies that are eaisly disproven.

It's very difficult to understand why anyone sends money into this con artist because if you listen to his donation updates,you will easily catch him in his absurd and outrageous lies.As an example,one of his "urgent projects" he was demanding money for was his website which he stated needed to be changed.He told his listeners it was going to cost twenty thousand dollars ($20,000!) to do the upgrade.He worked that con job for two weeks at which time he reported that the money had been received.But only one big problem.He didn't change his website at all!
I found out what his personal email address is and I contacted him about the fraud.He in reply sent me such a rude and insulting email,that never addressed his financial fraud or his website at all,that it read like it was written by someone serving time in a state prison which exactly where this morally perverted con artist belongs.

I met Dawson in the early 1970's when he was a youth pastor at a Baptist Church. In the time I knew him I did not (and still do not) see him as a man who is out for gain. I am sure he DOES ask for donations. So does Billy Graham. So does my church on Sunday. I know it costs a lot of money to do the work he does. I last had contact with Dawson in 1994. Although I have not spoken with him since, I have followed the development of his website. The Dawson I know truly believes in Jesus' message. I would be very surprised if the comments I read are true. They just don't fit the person I knew well years ago as a friend and a teacher.

I suppose teenagers to think him grand, he does not solicit money from you, but your parents and other adults. Have you listened to his show lately? In a 2 hour time span he ask for donations 2-3 times and is always talking about this matching donation but do we really know if there is a donation to match, that's the oldest scam in the book. He has even started an adult show so he can ask for donations 5 more nights a week. You get caught up in the moment and the excitment and make pledges and donations, it's a sales pitch. I've been in sales for years and all sales managers teach you, do not let a customer leave, because you have to catch them when they are HOT. Tomorrow they will have cooled off and all the excitment and sales pitch will be stale. All I am saying is know who and where your money is going, what's the harm in asking for a financial statement to see where the donations are going. If it is going to finance an extravagant lifestyle shame on him and if you are supporting it, shame on you.

I would highly encourage her to call them sometime and to even consider going to one of their conferences. They're the kind that will change your life.

And besides, I'm sure that with Dawson's noteriety he has built over the past several years, as well as with all the books and manuals he has written, he wouldn't even have the need to ask for donations to support him and his family.
