Daylight motors 2012 purchased a 2011 Dodge charger for $ 35,000.00 . Day one vehicle was pulling real hard to the right . that should have been a sign for us . But took it to them they drove it to get alignment . Then we have had minor problems . One day at our dodge dealer in Lufkin we needed work done on front end they charged us extra because car had been in accident and they had to do extra work to repair it. Very dissapointed in daylight motors .I have paid off vehicle , but now I know when I trade it in or sell it I will not get fair market value do to accident . I know from checking online I am not the only one this has been done to . I should file suit to recoup value I will lose on vehicle . Please if using daylight motors have someone other then them inspect vehicle . I will never use them again. Please if someone think I have a good lawsuit against them let me know .

Specifically, what Federal or Texas law requires a used auto dealer to disclose the accident history of a vehicle? How do you know the dealer was aware of the accident?

I'll tell you right now, if you bought the car "As Is" then you will have no case! That's exactly what "As Is" means...you have no warranty and any repairs are on you. All this was disclosed within the paperwork when you bought the car and quite specifically in the "Buyers Guide". Bingo! End of story and no, I don't work for them.
