There are two websites DE-PHONES.COM and MOBILES-DISCOUNTS.COM which are selling cell phones that are expenisive for a fraction of cost.

I was extrememly exited to purchase until they said that the only way they accept payment was through western union and/or bank wire transfers. I found this strange because on their website they said that you could pay by credit card but then when they emailed me back they said that they only accept payment through western union and bank wire transfers.

To me this already seemed like a scam because they didn't accept payment through credit cards when all the legitimate websites that I've previously bought phones from accepted payment through credit card.

I then emailed back and asked if I could make payment through escrow.com which safeguards both parties; the only way the site would recieve payment was after I received my product. When I heard back from them they said that due to high volume of customers they weren't able to meet my demands.

So after I heard back from them saying that they would'nt do business through escrow.com, I knew they were scammers. Not only that but after looking up the website online I've found that many people encountered the same problems and I havent found one positive comment on their behalf.

So because of everything I've read and because these phones are being sold at incredibly low prices, the site has only been up and running for one month and they only accept payments in a way that the customer is not safeguarded ie. wire transfers, you should not buy from this site.
