I have never in my life experienced the amount of telemarketing calls from any source. I have been receiving automated telemarketing calls from this company for at least 2 months now (probably longer - perhaps it's been 4 months now.) The message left on my answering machine never leave a call-back number. They always talk about the "danger" - because my car warranty is about to expire. Since I do not currently have caller ID, I have frequently picked up the phone and heard the telemarketing message. It gives the option to "press 1 to be connected to a warranty specialist, or 2 to be taken off our mailing list." I have pressed both 1 and 2 a number of times. I've tried to get OFF of their list by pressing 2. I've waited a LONG time to get a person on the phone so that I can ask to be removed from the calling list - only to have the call cut off. Today was the first time that I was actually successful in getting a person.

Jessica answered. I asked her first for the telephone number of her company. She said she did not have one to give out. I then asked her the name of the comapny. She told me "Dealer Services". I asked her where they were located. She answered Missouri. I can only assume that this is the same company that the other writer (Jay) was writing about.

When I told her about the harrasing phone calls, she dumped me into an endless loop voice mail that informs me to register my phone number with www.donotcall.gov (which I have already done in the past.)

I was glad to see Jay's complaint because it gave me the phone number of the company's customer service. I'm going to call to do anything I can to get the calls to stop. It has been such a nightmare.

No?

I keep having to spread this around. Alot of people are confusing Dealer Services or National Auto Warranty Services in Wentzville, MO with other companies. They do NOT dial outbound to their customers. The best way to figure out who's calling you is to do something along these lines:

1. Answer the call cordially. Play along and act interested

2. The first representative you talk to is likely just screening calls so you might have to agree to speak with a specialist or a sales person.

3. Go through the sales pitch and tell them you need to call them back with your credit card number.

4. Once you get a callback number post it here. I can check to see as to who the phone number belongs to and I can also verify it with the utility company.

for someone who claims in another thread that they are just allegedly researching this company and contemplating allegedly buying a warranty from them, you seem to already know a hell of alot about them already to pass any judgment on all their threads.

You may be mistaken

You may be mistaken. There are a wide variety of companies who use the same type of auto dialer system . I get these calls too. But from different companies. Just like more than one phone company has the same disconnected recording. Many call centers use the same dialer type. Thus the same voice and recording. There are so many companies you could press 2 to stop the calls. There are other forums on the net. There is a contact person called Zach Austin. He is their IT guy in charge of the internal , as well as state , and national do not call files. He makes sure that dealer services are not calling the numbers.

They do honor the national do not call list. As well as the state lists. And last but not least he gets all the numbers from people who press 2. Just google enaws zach austin and you will see the forums he belongs to .

I actually found this site because of Dealer Services.

I had same experience, they call our office at least 10 times per week, possibly more.

FInally I asked the person on phone how to get the calls to stop, and she did not know. I asked her for the number of her office so I could call back after I found out how to stop the calls, so she could relay the info to other people who I am sure wanted the same information (was sort of goofing with her, but did want the number), and she said that they did not have a number. I mentioned that we simply wanted to be off the list because the calls were disruptive, and she said that they have received quite a few calls with the same request, but she did not have an answer... so I asked her what number those people called to issue their complaints to... and she said they did not call in, they were calls out... ugh

Anyway, we've done all the 'do not calls' and there truly is now way to get them to stop. Frankly, our efforts to get us off their list seem only to have alerted them to our presence even more, as they actually seem to be calling us MORE!.

I thought there was a law against this??

Hey, I'm knew, but figured I'd try my hand at posting.

Time again

visit www.donotcall.gov

Click More Information, then Information for Consumers

#18 might explain why you are still getting calls. register again or check your registration.

If that isn't it go down to #28 and #31 and then just read the entire page. That is just what I found with a quick scroll only reading the bold print.

Long before the Do Not Call list everyone just did #34. I registered our phone numbers before we even closed on the house. In 4 1/2 years the only random calls we get are wrong numbers, it is kind of boring. Messing with the heads of sales folks could be fun at times. lol
