Buyer beware! The breeder, Debra Lynn, is a person who can be kind as ever one moment and lashing out at you the next for absolutely no reason. One day she wrote the puppy was $3000 including the flight, the next day when I indicated I may pick it up the cost went up to $3300. She asked for a $500 deposit to hold it, when I came up with the $500 she told me she wanted $1,000 deposit. She wanted cash to put into her account with no recourse for me, site unseen. There was nothing normal about communicating with her in the end, you'll see that if something doesn't go her way, and the level of her misunderstanding was phenomenal. In the end I felt like I was dealing with a split personality maybe,

I went to great lengths to get the cash for a puppy and it fell apart at the end when the kind person I was speaking to last week lashed out at me and turned into an insulting, degrading individual this week. This whole event has just baffled me, and though I debated posting anything about it, I want to save someone else from going through this anguish. I can't imagine what would happen if anything were wrong with ta puppy and you had to deal with her. This simply was not normal communication at all. I don't want to go into detail about he said she said,, I just want to warn others to pleasebe careful and know who you're dealing with! If there's any specific questions about what happened I can answer that, otherwise this is a huge investment and I think the person you'd be dealing with is somewhat unstable .

Karen Owens Midwestern University.Does Not Own a Puppy From Us

AUTHOR: A Friend - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, August 15, 2016

I am a customer of the Breeder and am writing this as

I own 3 puppies from her and I know her policies very well.

i wish she would stick with her policies but she always feels sorry

for people. The policy deposit down for purchase on a $3000 puppy

is HALF or $1500. That Debra permitted $500 down

PROVES karen was given special Treatment

and being worked with by the Breeder!

Then, sure if Karen didn't follow through in time

It would be NORMAL for Debra  to move on.

Karen  herself admits WHEN SHE FINALLY

WAS ABLE TO PAY THE $500...........

Sure the puppy was by sold To someone else by then

THIS REPORT is what a breeder gets for SPECIAL TREATMENT

The deposit should have been $1500, not $500

This report is obviously for revenge  and PROVES YOU can't give special treatment to some folks

This person lost the pup and is now seeking revenge

Karen does NOT own a puppy from the breeder!

Debra, Munchkin Chihuahua puppy breeder in CA

AUTHOR: MeKoe - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, July 24, 2016

I had correspondence with Debra that was what I felt 'disturbing'. She started out nice, sent a contract for a puppy. The contract says "We require a  nonrefundable down payment to reserve a puppy of any age and do final payment due no later than seven days after deposit is made. A late charge $25 per day starts in the 8th day."

Debra informed me the by email  The down payment amount was $500. She then informed me she had to keep the puppy and additional two weeks, though this one was 10 weeks old she felt he was too small. In this case I would not only be paying a full  deposit with no recourse, I would be handing over $3000 by the 8th day and not receive a thing in return.   I planned to wait a week or so before putting a deposit down, if the puppy was gone it's gone but didn't want to take a risk like that. A week later I called her to make a $500 deposit and she then told me the deposit was $1000. She said another family is interested now so my deposit went up.

When I questioned that, Debra got furious and her personality completely changed. Out of the blue she told me she had been holding this puppy for me for a whole week. Wha-at?  I told her I thought maybe she had the wrong person? That baffled me. She proceeded to throw insults my way and sent me 15 or more text messages without even a reply from me. It was the strangest communication I've ever gotten or seen before, like there was multiple personalities I was dealing with. Absolutely nothing she  said made any sense to me. I had to cut off the communication and was grateful I had not sent to deposit.

She would not accept a check even though she was keeping the puppy longer and had the ability to cash the check and keep it. I wouldn't trust a person who can in one hand say a $500 deposit is required and could keep that on a whim at her own discretion, then say $2500 is due in 7 days or I forfeit the deposit, yet on the other hand say my puppy isn't ready for 2 more weeks and keep that as well. She could've done anything, kept the entire deposit and the dog and potentialy even the $3000 I paid since the contract also says " on the eighth day breeder me take back position of puppy to resell without refunding deposits and payments already paid" so any payments I made made towards the puppy are also not refundable.

The following weekend when I attempted to make a $500 deposit and ask more about this, she flipped a switch and became a completely different person. She began calling me a liar, and went on and on with pages of texts about how people use her, how she's way too kind to people, how she's got to stop allowing people to use her like that etc. and I honestly didn't know what she was talking about. This was not the nice person that I had communicated with last week.

After I asked her to stop sending text to me, she sent further texts stating even her neighbors and friends said she was too nice to me and "I should've dropped you a week ago." Dropped me? We had no agreements,  and she made it very clear she would not make an agreement without the money, yet she said she held the dog for a week and apparently it wasn't a priority for me so I really didn't want the dog.

I've never seen anyone get angry over a person who wants to take time to read a contract and do things right, but Debra wants money when she wants it and if you question anything she will go off.  After this happened I went online and noticed she has several last names and numerous name changes to her business, websites, probably because of all the complaints I would imagine.  I debated filing a complaint at all, but it's important others know about this.

I'd hate to see someone lose money this way and I can't imagine dealing with someone like this if anything ever happened to the puppy  while it was under warranty, and her warranty information is very questionable, esp for a $3000 to $4000 dog!  It left a lot up to interpretation and to "breeders discretion" from one week to the next she has changed prices on her dogs by $1000, so with her warranty,  if you buy a puppy and it dies, she may refund the cost of the dog (cost you actually paid) for another puppy at her price!  In other words, you will not get a refund, you have to get another puppy, and you'll be bound by her wavering costs on the puppy you choose -- you could end up giving her thousands more for a puppy. Please, just be careful!!
