I enrolled in a Debt Consolidation program with debt consolidation care Corporation in November 2004 and since that day they have not paid my creditors and lost payments they withdrew directly fromy my checking account. The company is rude, unprofessional and could care less about helping people manage their debt.

I found out in the fall of 2005 that my creditors were not being paid by phone calls from my creditors. FCC said they contacted my creditors and informed them they would be unable to make payments. debt consolidation care lied they never informed any of my creditors. debt consolidation care took two payments out of my checking account two months consecutively and did not pay for the overdraft fees on my account.

debt consolidation care does not disburse the monthly payments in a timely manner and does not know if they even paid your creditors. This past month again my creditors have not received their payments despite the money being withdrawn from my checking account by debt consolidation care .

The customer service representatives are rude, unprofessional and incompetent.

My credit has been destroyed and I had perfect credit prior to enrolling in the program. I was only looking for a way to consolidate my debt as I always paid my creditors on time. Instead of digging myself out of debt, I have ruined my credit due to no fault of my own except for choosing a horrible debt consolidation program.

I advice anyone to not use debt consolidation care .

#4 Consumer Suggestion

two completely different entities

AUTHOR: LessIsMore - ()

POSTED: Friday, February 13, 2015

In all fairness to DebtConsolidationCare.com, they are an entirely different entity than DebtConsolidationCare.net. If you look at registrar info on both domains, one stark fact should jump out at you. The ".net" domain is registered with Moniker.com. And it's a "privacy-cloaked" domain with no actual info on the owner apparent. The Florida address you see is Moniker's address. On the other hand, the ".com" domain is registered with GoDaddy.com - and owner info is publicly displayed for all to see.  Now ... which site should be trusted - a site that hides their owner info - or a site that freely publishes their owner info?

I used to be a member of the ".com" site's forum for a number of years. They are primarily a forum where people in debt can touch bases with other people who've "been there and done that." And a lot of positive info can be garnered from this situation. Of course, I should point out that the ".com" domain, while not actually handling anyone's private finances, is a conduit for about 200 entities that do - debt management companies, debt consolidation companies, and debt settlement companies. They have a page that links to these companies:

http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/companies/usa-listing/

So, they do attempt to steer people in the direction of one plan or another to solve their debt issues.  I, on the other hand, maintain a website that attempts to steer people "away" from such plans:

http://LessIsMore.atspace.com

And on my site, there are no come-ons or advertising ... just advice from someone who used to be in debt but no longer is.

#3 REBUTTAL Owner of company

I had never heard of debtconsolidationcare.net

AUTHOR: Vikas Kedia - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 20, 2009

Thanks for pointing out the existence of debtconsolidationcare.net You said "difficult to believe that you've never heard of debtconsolidation.net" but it is true.

I would like to categorically state that:
1. I have no ownership of debtconsolidationcare.net
2. I do not know who owns or runs debtconsolidationcare.net
3. Before today I did not even know that it existed.

When I go to:
http://whois.domaintools.com/debtconsolidationcare.net

It shows that the domain was created on 2007-12-10

The complaint filled by the consumer states that he signed up for the program in 2004. I do not know if debtconsolidationcare.net existed at that time.

I will still request the consumer to please make it clear in his ripoffreport that he did not sign up with debtconsolidationcare.com since we only run a free forum and make money from advertising we do not provide any financial services to the consumers.

I will try to find an attorney and make sure that the people at debtconsolidationcare.net make sure that there is no confusion in the minds of the consumer when some one is signing up for their services.

#2 Consumer Comment

I don't think he is

AUTHOR: Flynrider - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 19, 2009

I don't think that rebuttal is accurate. Debt Consolidation Care has a website with a .com domain that appears to be what you say. If you go to the .net domain, you will find Debt Consolidation Care which claims to provide the following :

"As explained before, Debt Consolidation Care is a service that combines debts into one easy monthly payment to reduce your interest rates and help you get out of debt faster. Debt consolidation care does not have a negative impact on your credit. Good candidates for debt consolidation care:

Have $5,000-$20,000 in unsecured debt
Are relatively current on your payments
Are not currently enrolled in a consolidation service
Are willing to cancel the credit cards included in consolidation
Want to avoid damaging their credit
Would like the convenience of one simple monthly payment "

So, either you have two websites (one of which is the service that the OP complained about), or someone else is using your company name. I find it difficult to believe that you've never heard of debtconsolidation.net. Either way, you've got a problem.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

You are mistaking my company for some other company

AUTHOR: Vikas Kedia - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 19, 2009

I will respond to each of the allegations made in this rip off report one by one:

1st allegation:
""I enrolled in a Debt Consolidation program with debt consolidation care Corporation in November 2004"

Debt consolidation care (DebtCC) is an internet forum where people come and discuss about debt. DebtCC does not provide any financial services to any consumer.

We made our revenue which pays for the servers and bandwidth through Google Adsense advertising and selling leads. This is explained in the terms of the service point number 1 and point number 21 listed on the website at:
http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/tos.html

2nd allegation:
"debt consolidation care took two payments out of my checking account two months consecutively and did not pay for the overdraft fees on my account."

DebtCC has never taken money out of any ones bank account. Once again you are mistaking our company for some other company.

Please contact me on my personal email address kedia.vikas@gmail.com and I will provide you whatever proof you need.

3rd allegation:
"debt consolidation care does not disburse the monthly payments in a timely manner and does not know if they even paid your creditors."

Once again DebtCC does not provide any financial services to any consumers. You are mistaking us for some other company.

John, please update your report with the name of the right company that ripped you off. This will protect my company's reputation from being maligned. If you look in your bank statement it will clearly show the name of the company that withdrew the money from your account.

Thanks,

Vikas
