DEBT SETTLEMENT USA ripped off! never made one call to creditors, wont issue refund- 11mos of fees lost Scottsdale Arizona

I was told they would negotiate debt to 40-50% less. I paid monthly fees via ACH transfer.
the balance of the amount was to stay in my account until I had at least 1000 or more they could use to negotiate with.
When I asked what about the calls, etc in the meantime. they advised they woudl contact creditors.
and I was to mail their notification letter to each creditor. I did all that. still got calls all day- 15 times a day I counted.
and I got served- I am being Sued. I called them (DSUSA)several times in first 2 months, would never get a call back.

Finally I got instructions on how to cancel account. faxed in letter to cancel and requested refund. have not heard a thing 5 months.

I did talk to one of my credit card companies, and they were willing to settle for half of the total, and remove late fes, etc.

every one of my creditors told me they never received any phone calls from this company at all. so they never did a thing. so I am out almost 2000. no response on refund request.

none of these debt companies are needed at all.
I have better luck with the credit company directly, or now the collection agencies sending me letters to settle.

the sales guy for DSUSA called me twice, talked to me forever, and really just wore me out, and made alot of promises, and made it sound like I was stupid to continue to pay on high rate cards at all.
alot of high pressure on that, when I was just trying to see what type of program it was.
Got sucked in for sure.
