I recently ordered a pair of Dior sunglasses and when they arrived they might as well have come out of a cereal box. They were flimsy and scratched and obvious FAKES. I went to Saks just to compare and the differences were clear to the naked eye. This is where the fun began. I called the company and explained to them that I wasn't happy with the quality of the product.

I stopped short of accusing them of selling counterfeit merchandise as I was trying to behave in a courteous and mature manner. The girl ("Jessica" ?) who originally answered the phone laughing hysterically, said "Hold On" and kept me on hold for almost 10 minutes. When I explained the situation she tried to reassure me that they were authentic but I told her I wasn't so sure and I just wanted to return them and get a refund.

This would be a very simple transaction with just about any reputable company. Not so with these animals. She transferred me to her manager, "Stanley". He seemed cooperative at first, telling me to explain the situation in an email and he would issue a return authorization. Then the SPAM started: the solicitations to work for them (is it a pyramid scheme?), marketing junk for their other companies (DecorMyhome and some other dot coms).

Once I sent the email I received a note saying I would have to pay for return shipping and a restock charge. This was nothing compared to what I would have to endure in the following weeks. To make a very long story short, I ended up keeping the cheap glasses because I just couldn't deal with "Stanley"'s harassment and barrage of emails. He called me every name in the book and threatened me with lawsuits and violence. How this company (based out of a house in Brighton Beach, NY, btw) is still in business is beyond me.

If you think this is too crazy to believe or sounds over the top, I urge you to trust the cases on here and STAY AWAY from these people. No one here has anything to gain by doing this. It's simply a place to vent and hopefully save others from making the same mistake. By the way, the BBB really can't do much. Contact the FTC, FBI and Attorney General's office to file complaints. I did!
