Deja Vu Hardwood Floors aka Dean M. Vu Described self as experienced floor refinisher when in fact he does poor quality work and has no regard for your home. Windsor Connecticut

 April, 2013 we hired Dean M. Vu aka Deja vu Hardwod Floors to refinish our hardwood floors which included sanding and applying two coats of polyurethane.  Dean billed himself as a professional with over 10 years experience and a list of satisfied customers.  Dean finished the living room, dining room, and hall in one and half days.  Before we had even seen the finished job he was demanding payment via paypal.  Naturally, we wanted to see the floors first.  We were mortified to see a vast number of bubbles thoughout the three areas Mr. Vu had treated.  We also learned that while we were away from the home he ran our attic fan for about 16 hours.  To add insult to injury, he ran the attic fan while he sanded the floors and did not alert us to the fact that everything in the attic was now covered with saw dust and would require professional cleaners to come in and remove the dust.  In addition to the polyurethane bubbles there were numerous areas that were obviously not coated with polyurethane at all.  Of course, he claimed this has never happened before and how his reputation would be harmed if he did work of this poor quality.  Upon his return to our home the following weekend he agreed that the floors could not be saved and would require they be totally re-done.  We told him we did not want him doing anything in our home and wanted to buy him out of the contract.  We paid him $650, reluctantly, to avoid a lien on our house which he frequently mentioned.  Do not hire this individual for any reason not even to shine your shoes.
