 Delbert Knight deceived me and gave me a fake lease to a house I moved in and also. Got away with $2300.00.  I spoke with Mr. Knight a couple of weeks ago in regards to having any houses for rent. He advise me that he did know of someone and that he would get in contact with them and then get back to me. He did get back in contact with me a few days later and advice that he did have a house for me to look at which we looked at between 7-27/7-29.. Mr. Knight advised me that it will be $1600 deposit.Where I advised him that I will have it on 8/2/2013 When I paid him and also signed a lease..

I then advised him that I will have the first month of rent on the aug. 9th when I would like to move in. He advised me that was ok. I met Mr. Knight on 8/7/13 at 1:30p.m. to give him the first month rent. $710.00. I moved in on 8/9/2013...when I realized the air was not working. I advised Mr. Knight that I would not stay there without air. So he offered to pay for me a room which I have a receipt for. The next day he advised me that the air should be working which it is not. He purchased a fan from walmart.

On 8/11/2013 I received a phone call from the OWNER of the house stating that Mr. Knight Has not gave him any money that came from me. He also stated that I was not suppose to be there because I don't have a lease...I advised the OWNER that Mr. Knight gave me  a lease to sign. I was then advised that the lease I signed was BOGUS because he has the OFFICIAL LEASE. I tried getting in touch with Mr. Knight..and after 15 calls to his phone he sent me a text message advising that this is a civil matter and a bunch of other nonsense to cover up what he did. I have all the text messages and all receipts and money order stubs.

You know....I was not going to even feed into the comment you just made...but i had to say something..its a apparent that you feel some type of way. Because if you didn't you wouldn't still be trying to make some type of point. Now you know d**n well I was not living in a hotel....I had a full time job with TRIBUNE TECHNOLOGY.... and I was living in a town home near the galleria. You know the town home you came to..so that I can get that FAKE LEASE you brought to me...did you forget that? Hmmm.. So, for you to get on here and try to justify what you did is sickening. But if you feel that you have to talk down about me and my living situation thats fine. Because you not hurting my feelings. It just let me know im still on your mind because you feel bad about what you did. Now, what im not going to do is let you rain on my parade so with that being said...you have a GREAT DAY!! Oh  yeah...if i was so broke.....how did I pay YOU? FOR THE LAST TIME......PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STOP...YOU MAKING YOURSELF LOOK BAD...AND MY NAME IS LATONJA.....SO IF YOU GOING TO TALK BAD ABOUT ME PLEASE SPELL MY NAME RIGHT...AGAIN...HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!

Tonya stevenson os a liar and was living in a motel when I found her a house because no one would rent to her for she had so many evictions on her credit report. She could not rent a tire or apartment. Lorenzo maxfield said I did not give him your money, I did and he took his girlfriends and roommates mother to furrs cafeteria to eat with your money. The truth will come to light in the end about tonya and lorenzo.

I have asked Delbert Knight Sr. to help with a project to help first-time homebuyers.  My experience has been very positive, and he has demonstrated ethical principles and a professional demeanor in how he has conducted himself with others and how he has communicated with others.

I would like to talk to the person making this complaint and see if there is some way we can help her.  Maybe, just maybe I am in a position to do so.  Please call me at 214/213-6057.

You have been lying or being persauded to lie from the start of this and we will get to the bottom of all of this, there was never an investigation by Texaslending.com about any of this and/or you will find out the truth along with every one invloved with this process in due time.  Look, Please STOP responding....because you know you were WRONG....So STOP trying to JUSTIFY the FACT that you got me for $2300.00. SImple as that. And as far as you telling me about the house financing YOU KNOW d**n WELL THAT CONVERSATION NEVER CAME UP BETWEEN ME AND YOU. All we AGREED on was that I was going to do a 2 year lease....and and BEFORE the lease was up. I would see what steps I would nee to take to but the house.

Also, STOP using the LORD in everything you say..and if you going to use his NAME...make sure you SPELL IT RIGHT. The only thing you need to do is ask him for FORGIVENESS. BECAUSE GOD DONT LIKE UGLY..and what you did was UGLY and MALICIOUS. Like I said before...contact me when you get my MONEY!!!!!

 I am releived you are buying the same house I told you you about buying and he and you are using the same things about owner finance and Lease purchase that I told you you would have to do. He gave you the same paperwork and information I gave to him for you and I hope you did not give him any more money for he has your money already.

The truth will come to the light for the Loard is my shepard and the battle is his and he will come thru for me as he always does. May God Bless You and the other guy.

First of all....you never gave him my money and second of all. I got the copies back from money gram with your signature on them for cashing them. ITS FUNNY HOW YOU SAID HE NEVER GAVE YOU A RECEIPT WHEN HE IS A BUSINESS MAN AND I GET A RECEIPT FOR EVERYTHING TRANSACTION WE COMPLETE.  And if you are so GOD FEARING WHY HADNT YOU TRIED TO REACH OUT TO ME OR RETURNED ANY OF MY CALLS. AND I STILL HAVE YET TO RECIEVE THE MONEY BACK. SO DONT COME WITH ALL THAT BS ABOUT WHAT YOU DID FOR ME BECAUSE THE ONLY GOOD THING THAT YOU DID DO WAS GET ME A ROOM AND THE ONLY REASON YOU DID THAT IS BECAUSE YOU KNEW I HAD GIVEN YOU ALL OF MY MONEY. 

WITH THAT BEING SAID WHEN YOU FOUND OUT THAT THE HOUSE DID NEED A NEW AC UNIT I DIDNT HERE FROM YOU AGAIN ONLY THRU TEXT OH AND WHEN YOU CURSED ME OUT ON THE PHONE. AND APPARENTLY THE OWNER MUST NOT BE TO BAD OF A PERSON BECAUSE IM STILL IN THE HOUSE AND IN THE PROCESS OF BUYING IT. OH YEAH THE REAL OWNER OF THE HOUSE MRS. B.... I DO HAVE REGULAR COMMUNICATION WITH HER AS WELL. SO, MR GOD FEARING MAN UNTIL YOU HAVE MY MONEY..YOU HAVE A GOOD ONE. ALSO, YOU SHOULD BE GETTING CONTACTED BY THE COURT BECAUSE I DID FILE CHARGES AGAINST YOU. JUST SO YOU KNOW.

 First, let me say, God fights all my battles, I have not responded to this but my spirit says now it is the time.

There is three sides to every story, his, hers and the truth. Always verify what someone tells you which you can do with a little research, like the minister says don't take my word for it, go read your bible and find it for yourself. Study to show yourself approved.

Some people just take information and run with it which is not good for anybody involved.

I have been in the Real Estate, Mortgage and Construction industries for over 30 years and have never had any problems, but like it is said when you are dealing with humans, sometimes things go awry. It has been said, you do 9 out of 10 things correct but if only one of those things breakdown that can cause a problem.

I met Ms. S**** an she stated she needed a home, I proceeded to assisit her in getting a house, the manager of the property stated he wanted to rent the property. Ms. S**** and I went to see the property and she wanted to rent the property and stated she wanted to eventually but the or a  property.

We went through the process, she paid her deposit which I gave to the property manager which he said I did not, a person would have to know this person to understand this person, which I will not get into at this time, we proceeded with the lease as stated by Ms. S****, we went to the property, and the air was not working unbeknowing to me when we started, I installed the new garbage disposal in place of the old dispoal, which was old and rusty, shampooded the carpet, repaired the fence and had my son in law working on the air to get it working, it was truly hot in August in Texas, I contacted the property manager and he said proceed.

I did not want to leave Ms. S**** in the hot house. We eventually got the upstairs unit working, but the downstairs unit after working on it Thursday and Friday he could not quite get it the working, this was Friday about 10;30 pm after working all day to salvage the unit. He said he would come back Saturday, which he did.

I got Ms. S****  room for her comfort. I had another AC guy come over Saturday morning to look at the downstairs unit and he could not get it working either and said he would perfer to replace the unit. I picked up my son in law from work downtown Dallas Saturday afternoon and took him back over to Lancaster to the house and stayed there until about 11:00 pm, I contacted the property manager who got upset when I informed him he would probally need a new unit. I let him handle it from then on, which is how we got here today.

Ms. S**** how did he call you if I did not give him a copy of your lease with your information on it, he stated I did not give him a receipt when I gave hime the money, why would he say that if I did not give him the money. I have been in business long enough to know to write everything down and keep copies of everything. I have all receipts, workers statements, pictures, text messages between he and I and copies of phone calls to verify all transcations.

Secondly let me apoligize to Ms. S**** for ever getting her involved with this type of person, I will as soon as possible return your money that I gave to the property manager for you would not be out of the money had I not gone to him on your behalf. God will deal with him and I have to answer to you. God bless you and have mercy, for mercy goes a long way. 

I dealt in fairness and honesty as I always try to do, if you can choose to do the right thing or the wrong thing, do the right thing!
