I am receiving up to 18 phone calls a day from 1-866-395-5011. The person on the other end says he is from Dell, and request that I verify my social security number.

I researched this number and found that it is in India. The person gives you an american name, but he clearly has a thick accent from the region of India.

I don't know what he is trying to find out but I won't give personal information to someone that can't be verified. This could possibly be an identity theft scam.
