Delta Faucet worthless warranty Indianapolis, Indiana

I purchased a new home a few years back. All the plumbing fixtures were Delta brand. I have had numerous issues with various sink faucets and shower valves. Delta provides a lifetime warranty on their units, provided certain criteria are met. One of the stipulations is that you must have the paperwork which comes with the faucets. Well, I don't know about other people, but I have purchased 3 new homes in my lifetime, none of which has ever come with a shred of paperwork regarding the faucets. This makes their warranty pointless without any of the original paperwork. I even went so far as to purchase most of the repair parts myself, and offered to submit receipts so that I might be reimbursed. They would not allow this without original paperwork. So my advice to others is to avoid Delta, and purchase from another manufacturer who better supports their products. Bottom line is that I have a home full of Delta fixtures with a worthless "lifetime" warranty.
