I spent five years incarceration for receiving a stolen saddle valued at 300 dollars in dodge county. The whole thing was a violation of my rights because I would not risk the safety of my family by setting up drug dealers for the oconee drug task force. Upon release I understood that all child support accumilated during incarceration was to be tacked onto the end of child support payments. I found this was not the case and the case worker assigned to me very hatefully demanded 700 dollars to release my license. I expressed to her I was just released from prison two days prior and her answer was,"Well I suggest you go and borrow it from somebody!" My 73 year old mother loaned it to me and I paid them. Since then, Owning a small buisness, I pay as much as I can when work is at its slow points. I even had to take a full time job due to the repititous licence revoking. And that still wasnt good enough. At one point they took 900 dollars out of my checks two weeks in a row, knowing I only owed 250 dollars per month and I could not get it back. Needless to say my employer grew tired of this and I lost my job. Since then, monthly I fight to keep my license, and lose, due to their screw ups and demands of more money than they are suppose to get. I cannot count the times I have paid the reinstatement fee of 35 dollars. Recently due to a broken shoulder, I grew two months behind and was demanded 1000 dollars to reinstate license, even though that was only 500 dollars in arears. I paid it, paid the 35 dollar reinstatement fee, and while I was waiting on my permanent license in the mail I find out that four days after I reinstated my license the DCSS revoked my license again! I went and had to pay another 500 dollars and less than a month later and having sent 3 payments to the DCSS, my license had been revoked again! The way I found out was someone slammed their door into the side of my truck, and when the police arrived the told me my license had been revoked less than a month after I got them and that he could arrest me for driving on suspended license. I told him that I received no notification and he replied that DCSS does not have to send notifications anymore. I am beginning to hate this disgusting unjust corrupt country run by idiots!
