I attended a Internet Marketing Clinc in Melbourne on the 1st September 2008 along with approx 13 others. The first day started out disastrously as the trainers had arrived some hours before training commenced. Long flights, vertigo, headaches, tiredness were all symptoms they suffered. One even fell asleep in the class and then to top it off this person wasn't present at all the classes or sometimes was in attendance for a short part of it..

It became aparant to me by the second day that this was not going to be all it sucked me into believing. The manuals arrived on the afternoon of day three, and of course we were expected to work on what they told us up to four hours each evening once we were through for the day. We did not have the manuals, they did not provide us with printouts, we were given dell laptops and they didn't care that the packages that come with them were all mixed up, absolute crap. The course was for 5days. Start time 8.45-9am did finish one day at 2.30pm which was day one, so you can see why that happened, they were buggered, three days at 3-3.30pm and only on day five did we finish at 4.00pm. We paid for 40hours. Not so difficult to figure out.

Being that they raced through the course, using powerpoint only, with very little patience when we asked questions and required answers the clinic delivery was 4 out of 10 for me.We were kind of knocked back and told to figure things out in the evening, as you can imagine, the question we needed answers to is "what does this mean or how is this done" a huge disappointment in the presentation of the programme, a huge RIP- OFF.

I can honestly say approx 7 perhaps 8 in the clinic were very dissatisfied. One of the ladies whom I now consider a good friend, come up to my room after day three and actually broke down crying, realizing that she may not get to pay her loan back which she borrowed to attend the clinic. Another was so upset she had a word with one of the mentors.

* With three trainers, one presenting the topic and also attending the floor, whilst the other two were totally lost in their lap tops 90% if the time. Several times the other two trainers had to be prompted to come to the floor to assist. Being that I paid just under $15000.00 NZ plus my accommdation at the Marriot Hotel where the clinic was held and my airfares from New Zealand to Australia this was an investment of just under approx $20000.00 NZ for a whole lot of crap.

* Some of the clinic attendees were getting seriously impatient while keeping their hands up to ask questions, while the trainers were chatting at the back or totally lost in their laptops, even napping if you please.

* At times, when new things were taught and we asked questions or clarificartion, the surprising response was - "Do it as homework and you will figure it out" This was the response given by two staff. How can we possibly do the activity as homework when we do not understand it, and didn't have our manuals. The whole purpose of attending the clinic was to be able to ask the questions we wanted to and be 100 % clear with it. NOT

* The whole clinic was based around a product they sell bebiz. Not to mention all the other products which are simply too difficult to even bother looking at, they gave bonuses, and in fact one is now phased out, with another being phased out soon, what a joke!

* When I got back to NZ on the 6th September I was shattered by the experience, and did question about getting a refund many times, Stacey, Meaghan, Ken, Karen, Jim, Breanne and many more,they just seemed to push you from one person to another. In fact I got an email from Breanne Stern, Bolded out in Black.

* Oh and this will just kill you, all very well getting the site up, even if it was absolutely ridiculous, they say don't worry about that you'll have lots of time to tweak it later, we need to start getting traffic to your site, ok.......so here's the best part of it, you have to pay for it, blow me down it has cost me in the hundreds, and to date I have had no sales apart from my daughter whom I asked to purchase because I wanted to see that my ebooks are delivered directly after payment is received. I have turned off my googles adwords/analytics.

* The reading is endless, absolute mountains of it, and it changes every year, so theres another tip,Do Not buy their Products.

I kept having major problems getting into the bebiz, as well as getting into their IEC (Internet Entrepreneur Club) I have kept all emails sent back and forwards to them and really at the end of the day they don't want to no you.

They have got my money and that's all that matters.
I do no of three other clinic attendees who once I have told them about this site will most definitely be doing postings on it, to warn people like myself and them as well for being filled with the idea that you will make money if you sign up with IMC.

Now this will make you laugh, me, well I almost wanted to cry for the sheer hysteria of it I think I laughed ( what a cheek I was thinking) At the end of day five 20mins before it finished the trainers asked us if we would like to invest a further $9000-$10000.00 for 6months more mentoring, Can you imagine that, what the h*ll did we pay our money for then?

Look I can go on and on, please don't be fooled like I was regretfully I shall continue to try and get my money back but do know this will be a struggle, as they just want to wipe their hands of you.

Jim,

It appears you are not understanding me, I would appreciate a reasonable refund, I do not believe I need to discuss further my shocking experience with Internet Marketing Centre, I have awaited a reply from Breanne, after discussing with her that I will put it to Face Book of which Derek Gehl has added myself as a friend. I do however understand the millions of people that will see this, and am quite certain it may bring out others who have been horribly misled by what I put there, which will be what is written here.

I have searched other places, like the Better Business Bureau and see that there have been numerous complaints laid, and am endevouring to put my complaints on the badripoffreport site as well.

Hope you had a great xmas and New Year, for mine has been quite stressful.

Our goal for the clinic is to educate our clients on how to set up an online business and drive traffic in 5 days. To date, you have received over 4,000 visitors and 72 opt-ins since completing the clinic which is an excellent result for 5 days of work. Similar to all education programs, the attendee must continue to apply the knowledge they have gained from the program. To support the clients after the clinic, we provide support tools such as the Internet Entrepreneur Club and workbooks, which we highly recommend that you take advantage of.

Based on these facts, we have delivered on all of our commitments made to you. We understand that growing a business requires ongoing time and effort and we encourage you to continue to apply the strategies you have learned at the clinic. Breanne, I think it's only fair to respond to your comments.

Firstly, I am locked out of bebiz, it is not accepting the password, a box pops up, a security software device asking for a password, I do not no what that is.
Secondly the troubles I had with logging into the IEC and bebiz lasted for weeks on end, I"m sure you were aware of this, you mentioned sitting opposite Meaghan and Stacey and you are the one who issues refunds therefore you need to no these things.
Trying to get contact with someone was frustrating enough, all the emails and phone calls I made, one day I rang 5times only to listen to an answer machine. I live in NZ. The service you provide is shocking and I still want my money back, (I will be happy with $12000.00) I realize I have the laptop, that is taken into consideration.
It has been suggested to me to put IMC on the NZ Commerce Commission, this being from the Consumers Institute. It was also suggested that I put my comments on places like face book, my space bebo etc. I am seriously considering this.
