Derm Essence DermEssence is a SCAM Be alert FB users Albany GA

I ordered an eye serum product through DermEssence on an ad that had popped up on FB.  I've ordered other products on FB and found it strange when it kept asking me if I wanted a free sample and suddenly the order was complete, but I had not received any confirmation number.  I did receive the product and within a month found an almost $200 charge on my account for a renewal of the product.  

It took some real digging to find the company's name and phone:  DermEssence  2021 N. Slappey Blvd.  888-334-5740 They were adamant that I was past my 2 week trial date but agreed to give me a full refund (after I continued to tell them that I wanted a full refund) and gave me return numbers for that full refund.  I mailed them back with the numbers well documented and 2 months later (5/15/17) they haven't refunded my money yet, saying that they haven't rec'd the product.  I have not seen the package back so I believe they have received the package.  

I talked to the GA attorney general and he told me to contact Facebook and tell them what happened.  Contact the BBB in Georgia 404-766-0875; the FBI's internet crime complaint center at ic3.gov and the FTC Federal Trade Commission at 877-382-4357.  I called DermEssence back and told them this was my plan of action.    

Hard lesson and I'll be ordering less, if anything from Facebook anymore.  I think this group are scammers.
