DeVry used me as a number to meet a quota, if you enroll with them you will be bent over, screwed, and won't be smiling. Pomona, California

I was 18 years old and out of options (just the type of victim DeVry looks for,) I went to DeVry with the intention of finding a career to better my future. I saw a DeVry commercial for the millionth time and figured I'd give it a shot. When I arrived at the appointment I was told by a recruiter that DeVry had huge connections, job placement, everyone wanted to hire a DeVry grad, and I would be making 50k+ after graduation. All four of those statements couldn't of been more wrong, if anyone does get hired, it will have had nothing to do with DeVry. I graduated from DeVry only to be exactly were I left off, except DeVry took give or take $60,000 from me and I wasted 3 years of my life I can never get back, not to mention the only thing I learned from DeVry, is not to go to DeVry.

This pyramid scam...I mean "school" is known for hiring teachers who know nothing about the material, that's because all DeVry is about is raising prices and recruiting more suckers to pay those ridiculous prices (as of July 09: $550 per credit x 128credits = $70,400: maybe there trying to break the 6 figure mark) like most scams DeVry preys on the ignorant and desperate (that's what the commercials are for.) I called my recruiter after graduation to talk about those promises he made but all he did was avoid me and say: "I don't know what to tell you," he couldn't careless what happened to me. DeVry gives a bonus paycheck to the recruiter for every person they recruit who graduates, once DeVry made all the money they can off me, I became obsolete to that man and DeVry all together.

DeVry even charged me $75 for my own "degree" (which was supposed to come in the mail but still hasn't) which isn't even worth the paper it's printed on. Think about it, if each ceremony has 200 graduates that's 200 x $75 = an extra $15,000 DeVry squeezes out of them. If Sallie Mae comes after me for payments all I can do is direct them to DeVry because I didn't see/enjoy/benefit from any of that money so why am I payin it back you know? DeVry are the scumbags who paid their bills and bought big screen TV's. I'm not goin down without a fight, I want back every penny they stole from me.
