D&G Custom Pools - The Swimming Pool Company, Owner Danny Veno Danny Veno cheated us misrepresented himself, lied to us Irving Internet

I received a low estimate from Mr Danny Veno of  D & D Swimming pools. Paid some money up front and then paid as work was completed. When we arrived at the gunite stage were were nearly at thew pool bid price. We ask for completion figures for the rest of the items needing finishing and could not get them in writinguntil about 3 weeks later. We finally received a verbal figure which was thousands more than we contracted for. Mr Veno cited many excuses.... as certain fees were higher, then trying to make us pay for things that were already in the contract and trying to justify any cost increase he could which we can disprove. We contacted an attorney who said we would fair well if we went to court but the money would be better spent finishing the poold We decided it best to cancel the contract and have someone we could trust finish the pool. There were several mistakes made on the pool and we had to pay to fix them.

In my opinion, man should not be allowed in the pool business... his suppliers and other pool builders have relayed to me that they were aware of the things he does to customers.
