I ordered 2 candles before the last one i ordered. The rings the send are gaudy, ugly and im pretty sure some of the rings they advertise are not real. Anyway, I got two of the ugliest rings i have ever seen from my first two candles, the smells of the candles were okay. So, i decided to order a third, third time is a charm right? Well, when i got it and took out the ring, it was missing a stone. On top of a missing stone, the candle had no smell. The only way you can smell it is if you stick your nose right above the flame, not safe. So, i contacted their customer support and this is what i got...

 

"Oh, no! I am so sorry to hear about the damage to the ring! Unfortunately, that can occasionally occur, most likely during the installation process. 

I definitely understand your frustration with the issue.

Since we guarantee each and every one of our rings has a minimum value of at least $10.00 retail, if you will send us a picture of the broken ring, I can respond back with a gift code good for $10.00 off the purchase price of your next candle! Sound good? 

Just let us know!"

 

Ok, first of all, I don't want $10 towards my next candle because the ring was broken and what if it was one of the $100 rings? I only get a $10 credit for a $100 ring? Really? The broken ring is not my problem and all rings should be inspected before packaged. Second of all, what about the candle that didnt have a smell? I dont get credit for that but i get credit for some crappy ring that was broken?

My name is Savannah and I am the customer support manager here at Diamond Candles.  We would like to help you but you didn't give us much to go on here.  Can you tell me, did you reply back to us advising an agent of the issue with the scent of your candle?
