Purchased an in ground pool from Diamond pools. During the install of the pool, Scott the owner never notified me or 2 of my neighbors about the clay ground we have and that there could be a drainage problem.
After all 3 pools were installed and Scoot was paid, All 3 of us started experiencing water building up behind our liners. We contacted Scott about the problem but he was always too busy to call us back.
After numerous calls, I finally got him on the phone and his attitude changed dramatically. He was very nasty to both me and my wife telling us its not his problem and basically blamed it on us and the builder who built our home.
After hiring, experts and a lawyer to come out to our property we all concluded (including the Manufacturer of the pools) that if Scott knew this was clay ground, he should have automatically installed some type of French drain system.
I took him to court and was awarded some money to have someone else fix his mistakes.
The Attorney General of NJ is also investigating him and his company as well.
Stay away from Diamond Pools...All they want is your money..
