When I went to stay at the Palm Canyon Resort for a week and when I came in they asked me if I would like to come in for a meeting so that the could show me what they had to offer with their time shares.  They said that if I would come in for a 90 minute presentation I would receive a $75 VISA Gift Card that I could use during my visit at palm springs.  So I Told them that my wife and I would come in.

The morning we were scheduled we came in and signed in to see our presentation. Our presenter was nice enough and there was never too much pressure but, he was slow.  Our 90 minute presentation ended up taking over 2 hours to finish and then we had to way to check out before we got our "reward" for coming in. Finally we check out of the presentation and head over to the office to receive our 75 dollar VISA gift card.

Once at the office they told us that they ran out of gift cards.  Everyone else I spoke too also said they did not receive a card either.  The office did tell us that FedEx was supposed to be sending a new shipment and it would be coming in later that day.  I figured they should of told us at the beginning that they were short Gift Cards but at least I would get it later on that day. I came back and the shipment never came.

I did come back to the office several times that week and the shipment never came in. They took my information down and told me that they would send it to my house.  I was bummed out because I was hoping to take my wife to a nice dinner but that wouldn't happen.

Now this past week I finally received a package from the FedEx and it was addressed from the resort.  I was happy finally I got my VISA Gift Card.  Nope... The envelope was empty.  I don't know if it was a horrible joke or just incompetence but either way it has made me so unhappy that I decided to write my first complaint ever for any company.
