I sent my 9 year old daughter's Ipod Touch 4G to DigiExpress to replace the screen and, as an added suprise to her, install a new backplate since hers was badly scuffed/scratched.  If it was my Ipod I would say I deserved what I got as punishment for not doing what I usually always do which is google the company to see what folks have to say about it.  Instead I only went on there website and read all the likely fixed great reviews. 

Several days after I received the email that they had the Ipod in the queue for repair, I called to check the status since I never got the follow-up diagnostic email from them.   After pulling the order number up in the computer, the woman shared that coincidentally the ipod was with a technician being repared as we spoke.  Of course almost immediately after I got the email that it was being returned to me.

The Ipod looked wonderful on sight but after turning it on we immediately discovered that it had been wiped clean of every single application and song.  Called customer Service the next morning and spoke to a very sympatetic woman (an answering service for DigiExpress) who took all my information and assured someone would return my call.   Someone from DigiExpress returned my call later in that evening and basically denied responsibility for the loss of data on the ipod since the techincian did not indicate that the Ipod's memory board was disconnected so therefore it wasn't since they are obligated to log everything done to the Ipod.  I guess that means we sent the Ipod to them that way.  Since that call we have also discovered the front facing camera no longer works and we are not able to connect to our own Wi-Fi account.  

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANYTHING TO THIS COMPANY FOR REPAIR.  It's almost as if there goal is to ruin half of the devices they receive for repair based on the complaints against them.
