I placed an order on line with Digital Depot online on Jan 8th, 2013. The representative, Greg, called me to tell me that the model camera that I ordered, Canon 5d Mark 3, for the online rate was a foreign model and if anything would go wrong with it, that I would have to send it out of country for repairs. He suggested I get the USA model as the camera casing was made of a more durable material and the warranty would be better. I went for the upgrade. He also suggested that I upgrade the flash card and offered me a 5 year warranty rate of $299. My total purchase was $3409.98. He told me that he would upgrade my shipping and I would receive my camera in 7-10 days. I did not receive my camera within that time frame and I called, spoke with Greg, he said that it would take a little longer since I am in Hawaii and my camera should be there on the 23rd. It did not come on the 23rd, I called. Then I was told, "oh it is being dropped shipped directly from Canon", so should be there within the week. After a week I called again, and asked for a tracking number, I was provided with a fake tracking number. In the meantime I had emailed about 5 times and got no response from any of my emails.

I called my bank and filed a complaint and had them cancel my card and issue me another. As of Feb 27th, I still have not received my purchase nor a refund. I called them, spoke to Greg again, and he said that they issued a refund on Feb 23 or 24th. I called my bank, and they have no records showing the transaction. They said they have been making attempts to Digital Depot and have gotten no response. I called and spoke with Greg again and informed him of this. He then got rude with me and hung up on me. I called back again and got a hold of Greg again and asked him if he normally practices that type of customer service of hanging up on his customers, and that I was under the impression that they were in business of ripping people off. I asked him to just refund my money and then be done with it.  He persisted to argue with me stating it will take days before the money would be released and posted to my back account if I disputed it. .

Please help me retrieve my money. Please help do something about this business so that no one else becomes victum of this scam. They really need to be shut down and prosicuted for online scam and theft.
