Venture to Microsoft.com for student software and they have you enter your school email address to verify you are a studeent. The site on 10/29/10 indicated Windows 7 will be $29.95. After you receive the microsoft email you are directed to their software seller digital river. Once there th eprice rises to $64.95 for a download, another $5.95 if you want the numbers recorded in case your system crashes plus $13 if you want a disc sent. WHERE DID THE STUDENT PRRICE OF $29.95 GO???

Oops no one knows! AVOID DIGITAL RIVER! NOT ONLY WILL YOUR END PRICE RISE BUT IF YOU LOSE THE SOFTWARE AND HAVE NOT BOUGHT THEIR EXTRAS, YOU'RE DONE!!
