My wife and I recently got married on Jan. 14th, 2012 and my wife suggested in using a friend of a friends' dj service. She had scene the work a few years ago and she loved what they had did at that previous wedding. We had made the decision to go with them, but we are regretting it horribly.

 we had set up a meeting with the owners at a local coffee shop to go over all our song requests and the lay out of the wedding, and we were pretty open to any ideas that they had to make it go smoothly.  We had a very small amount of people coming to the wedding adn the crowd was pretty much older family members, so we expressed to them that we didnt' think there would be too much dancing.  he was just to play music as a background to everyone's conversation and then play the stuff we requested.

 We came over to the reception hall after the actual ceremony at the church to find him sitting around with a few of the guests and no music playing. There might have been 20 people in there just standing around visiting and enjoying cocktail hour, but there was no music. I told him to start the music and he came up with some excuse that they music had just stopped even though later the guests told me he never even had started it. 

 Once we did our intros and ate and everything, we were to do all the dances. Our dance went off well, and sadly my wife's and her father's dance went terrible. The song just stopped halfway and he couldnt get it to continue. The reception hall had terrible internet reception, but he assured us he would come to the hall with all the required songs downloaded to the hard drive of his computer so there wouldn't be an issue, well he didn't. That happened about 3 other times that evening.

 We had also spoken with him to get what he would like to eat down so we could have the staff bring it to his table, but we didnt have a nametag saying what he would have. So he began argueing with my mother in law about his food and actually took a nametag from another guest to make sure he would get his food, a wonderfully tacky scene when food is being handed out and even though we had spoken with him about the food situation, he was making a scene. He actually then ate his meal at one of the tables with our guests. We were paying him to entertain our guests, not sit with them and eat there. And while he was away from the dj table, the music stopped and he had to hurry over there to get it playing again.

 We paid him $700 for about 6 hours of service, and if my wife hadn't suggested him, we had found one that was just about $500 for the same amount of time. I feel like I didn't get what I paid for with his entertainment.  My guests were embarrassed for us and my wife was very upset, because believe it or not, this was the only issue we had all evening. was the dj

 im posting on here because my wedding is the single most important day of my life thus far and i cant get the taste out of my mouth from the experience with this dj. I have contacted him a few times after the wedding explaining my displeasure and he was blown me off.

this is a heads up to anyone in the twin cities area, go with a different dj, cause this company didn't care the evening of the wedding and hasn't shown one bit that they have cared since.
