Direct Blinds and Shutters of Santa Ana, CA Rip off Scam!

I have also been very disappointed with the service and products of this company as reported by another person here (4/16/2001).

I took comfort in the "lifetime guarantee" that was pitched during the sale, but have not been able to get an ounce of action from the company to remedy our situation.

We ordered (and paid for) the top-of-the-line shutters for our new house and received some bottom-of-the-barrel defective products that don't appear or function as we were promised.

The shutters we received were broken, scratched, discolored, flaking, marked, fitted poorly, and defective in several other qualities that I never even imagined could go wrong.

The extra money that we paid for the special lifetime diamond finish is a joke - it was corrupt from the start!

According to the previous report, we are victims of a scam artist named David Blanchley who runs these fly-by-night companies to make a quick profit before moving on.

This is very believable to me based on the horrible customer service I have received while trying to find a solution for our dilemma.

We will have to replace these sorry shutters at a cost of thousands of dollars. Those responsible for this scam should be put in jail.
