Direct Readers Guild, Inc./International Magazine Service, Inc. and I'm sure they have other DBA's are continuing to rip off people.  Please read the other rip off reports about this company; it's principals, Steven and Lisa Bushy and if you have been scammed by these people, please file a complaint with your State Attorney General's Office and the Michigan Attorney General's Office as well. 

I have been assisting my nephew with a scam they pulled on him where they called him at work (we still don't know how they got his work number) and ordered multiple magazines for him (which he did not agree to) then sent him a payment book which he is supposed to may payments on these magazines totalling over $900.  He made the mistake of giving them his name and address to send him information on magazines but then they went and ordered them and that is how all this started.  There are many, many other horror stories just like this about this company. 

We filed a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General's Office and were told that they would check into the company and the principals and hope that others that have been scammed would also file a claim so that they could pursue this expediciously.  The Illinois Secretary of State's office told us that this business was dissolved back in 2004 but yet they continue to operate.
