Direct TV Cancellation Fee one time approval means they can charge all the time and overdraft your acct 1000 dollars, Internet

My husband at the time made a payment in March 09 with his debit visa card and now in sept 09 they took out 995.99 without authorization and states because we had the same address that they were authorized. I notifeied them in June that I would be moving to Louisiana and no longer needed the service. I even gave them the new address. My husband had a stroke and they overdrafted his acct. I spoke with Angela and she stated the money would be put back into the acct bu 9/23/09 but it wasnt. called and talked to Moses and he stated the refund was denied and that I now owe 240 cancellation.

Spoke with Andrew his supervisor and he stated since my husband at the time at the same address authorized it once it allows us to charge his acct. Asked about the refund on the returned boxes or 635.00. he states it will be another  five business days and they will credit his card minus the 240 canc. fees.

this company is getting away with fraud. Yes, they had permission in March but not Sept. Why do they get this right. My husband is out 995 plus 36 overdraft. Does anyone know what i could do?
