Since I started service with Direct tv,  Dec. 2013.  I have had nothing but problems with my bill.  I tried 3 different time to stop auto bill pay( both on the website and over the phone/ customer sevice).  The price I agreed to pay when I signed up was $51.70 a month.  I was charge $20.00 more from the get go.  I called and complained right away and was told they would credit me the over charged amount.  They owed me $40 and I only get $30 back in credit on my bill.  I had not even recieved my bill for this month yet and they took $107.71 out of my bank( on a Sunday morning)  03/16/2014  account without permission.  I called them right away and they told me they would take the $51.70 for my bill out and refund me the rest( $56).  Instead, not event a week later I get only $32 back, but I was owed $56.  The same day they refunded me the $32.  They took $123.02 out of my account even thou my balance was $0.00.  I have told Direct tv since January 2014 not to take any money out of my account, and have told them 4 times since December not to take any money out of my account( auto bill pay or not).  I called Direct tv as soon as I saw the $123 charge and they told me they had no record of that??  Yet even after I called and complained, they still let the $123 fee go past the pending phase at my bank.  I cancelled my debit card Direct tv had on file and said they needed to sign me up.  I never signed up for auto bill pay like they said I did.  Not sure what kind of scam this is, but you can't even sign up for there service without giving them a debit/credit card #.   I now have at least $35 in over draft fees from my bank and the hassel of having to wait 10 days for a new debit card.  Ever time I have called Direct tv to complain.  They tell me that they took care of the problem, but then I get blind sided the next month or even soon.  As far as I'm concerned Direct tv has not lived up to there end of the contract since I signed up.  I am not a lawyer, but when a company over charges you and never pays you what they owe you.  Is this not a criminal offence??  And how much money has direct tv made off of over charging there customers and only giving them half of what they owe them back??  I have filed a dispute with my bank,  but what else can I do? to get my money back.  I didn't even owe them anything ( $0.00) balance plus they owed me over $56.  When they took $123.02 from me.  Isn't this stealing??  Any and all advice would help alot.  Is really sad that I never had any problem like this ( being ripped off) when I spent 10 months in Kuwait, and the service was as good or better.  Thank you for your help and time
