Direct TV Unauthorized Charges to Credit/Debit Card Greenwood Village Colorado

I was a loyal Direct TV customer for over four years. In August 2008 I was informed that they had been saving all of my credit card numbers in thier computer without my permission. I called and spoke with a Direct TV representative and demanded that they remove one of my creditcard numbers from thier system.

I told them that I would not authorize or give permission for them to make any charges on that card. Thier Representative apoligized to me for this and agreed to take the card out of thier system. I waited on the phone while she claimed she was processing my request. When she came back on she told me that the card had been removed.

Then On Wednesday October 15th when I tried to purchase a grocery cart fulll of food at a local grocery store my credit card would not work. How embarassing is that to be up at a cash register trying to buy $200.00 worth of food to feed your children and have your card declined.

I go home and pull up my credit card account and see that the reason my card was declined was because Direct TV had debited my credit card $224.36. No warning, No notice of intent to debit my account they just went in and snatched the money out like the theives they are!!!

I immediately contacted Direct tV demanding that they reverse that charge Immediately. They refused to do so siting thier rediculous customer agreement.

However I NEVER cancelled my account. I am still as of this moment a Direct TV customer, so thier customer agreement is Null and void since I NEVER CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT and I never signed up for automatic debit which is what they need to automatically take the money out of my account.

They refuse to admit that they STOLE my credit card information and stole money out of my account and they refuse to give it back!

It is hard to believe that a company this big would steal from a single mom and loyal customer and think they can just get away with it.

Cutomers Beware of Direct TV. Don't let them steal from you!
