I was suppose to get 3-$100 rebates when I bought my plasma Hd tv from Best Buy so I changed from Dish to Direct tv. I had to fight like crazy to get 1 rebate and that was a $10 credit for 10 months. They told me the other rebates were expired and I sent my rebate forms 3 days after the rebate offer was started. All they do is give you the run around and lie.

Hurricane Gustav just hit us and of course the satellite went off with the first hint of a breeze. We have been without service for quite a while and still no sign of any technection. We can't get any reports of pending storms in the gulf except for the radio. For Katrina same thing and I told them I wanted a credit for all the weeks without service and they refused.

When I first got Direct tv every month my bill was different and I would have to call to straighten it out. This went on for 6 months until I blew a gasket and told them why they can't charge me what they stated it would be when I
started my service with them.

I own 1 of the DVR receivers that I bought at Best Buy and they have the nerve to charge me a monthly fee to leased receiver. If I own it why do I have to pay you to lease it.

Everything about Direct TV is a scam. My contract ends February 2009 and I am calling them in March to cancel my service as of Feb. 2009 and I am going to put it in writing to the company also certified mail.

I am going to return to Cox cable because that is the only cable service in my area. They are not that great but they are alot better than these satellite companies. Extremely ticked off!
