DIRECT TV Be Very Carful before you sign up contract Ripoff Los Angeles California

I once was a member of Direct Tv fullfilled my contract My service started on Feb 2 2006 after about 2 years I cancelled so my contract was over. A couple of months went by and I called them to re activate my account ( Same Account Number )

Two months went by I had a friend ask me if I wanted his DVR so I could hook it up to another room so I took it I called Direct Tv and asked them if they could hook it up. First they told me no because we cant update the card or somthing like that so I told him go ahead and cancell it Customer service rep told me that they would call me back of course that never happened.

I decided to return a call to cancell my serive be cause the call that I was waiting on customer service rep was very sorry nobody returned my call. So he hooked up the Other Dvr in the other room I was never told about a new contract. So today I call To ask why my bill is so high he told me that two wwf pay per views were ordered I Sam how what that possible my nephew is only 14 yo he told my since I didnt need to call nothing in so I am responsible for fees I told him that is fine.

I also told him the reciver that I had hooked up back in May to cancell it He tells me that is it a leased reciever and I will need to pay cancelation fee and return reciver I told him I am willing to return reciver that was given to me . He said it doesnt matter you are still responsible for fees and returning reciever. I told him I need a sup he refused it and just hung up .

Now I need to write a letter explainig what happened to :

I am going to send it certified and will let you know what thee outcome was. just be careful if your going to hook up a DVR with direct tv as it is they bill you each month as a rental $5.99 mo serive fee for each Dvr Reciever and on top of that $4.99 for each other reciever per month.
