Complaint Review: Direct TV
Direct TV charged my account when i dont have account Nationwide
direct tv billed my disability card $682.44 I dont even have an account with them. I called direct tv to find out why they asked if i had ever used my card to pay a bill for somwone else i responded yes one time a friend needed his bill paid but didnt have the money so i paid his bill and when he got paid he then paid me. Direct tv couldnt find an account in my name or the name of the person i had paid the bill for and couldnt tell me why they took the money from my account.
I filed a dispute with direct tv and they emailed me saying that the address on my card matches the one on the bill and they would not refund my money. I live at a residence that has one address but several renters and if they are going to take my rent money out of my account the least they could do is tell me who they took it for i just want my money back i dont find this fair i didnt give them permission to take this money how can they get away with this?
