Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

 After being a Direct TV customer for many years it became impossible to get them to do anything promised.  After calling several times to get the invoices corrected the only thing their reps are interested in is selling you more channels or packages as they call them.

  It became increasingly impossible to get anything accomplished with Direct TV as it is all about sales, no service at the end to speak of.

  In one last attempt to straighten out this mess, I called Direct TV & demanded to speak with a Supervisor or higher level person.  Put on hold for a few minutes a man claiming to be a Manager calling himself John was of zero assistance & I seriously doubt he was higher up with the company.

If in fact this John is upper level management then Direct TV will find itself loosing many more customers, as John was zero help.   He was sarcastic, arrogant and had zero customer service experience.   It was as if to say  this is the way it is take it or leave it attitude.

So I told them to pick up their satellite receivers and cancelled the service.  Enough is enough and GOOD RIDDANCE!  I have also hear DISH is no better but with all the trash channels there is so little to offer for such a ridiculous price.

Canceling direct tv

I too had a very hard time with Direct tv, being double billed, and once shut my service off for 79 cents that was added after I paid my bill. I contacted the BBB and Direct tv has over 30,000 complaints against them for billing "errors". A rep told me they would sue me for unreturned equipment and I told him to go ahead, I had my receipts and would sue for fraud. Been 6 months havent heard another word out of them.

you're in for an unpleasant surprise.

If it's NOT up, you will be charged an early cancellation agreed to it when you signed up.

Keep in mind that there are things that can extend your original agreement.
