SEO Reputation Management at its best!

We knew better when we were herded into the long and mind numbing sales pitch using a cookware example. We weren't looking for cookware and besides, small items have very little savings if any! We were lured by the promise we could save thousands of dollars on the bathroom remodel we are doing. We had searched online for items like bath tubs, vanities, sinks, flooring, etc. and had an idea of what we could do alone. So where were our brains when we signed up for this dreadful memembership? All the scam clues were there. Was some kind of pheromone being pumped into the air to make us feel we were in a safe environment?

The salesman, who kept answering his cell phone saying he was in the middle of custody problems for his daughter (tear jerk), also said he was very new to his job (red flag.) As he finally told of the membership fee of $5,432 plus $30 dollars to renew after three years (no way) we were stunned but he kept saying we would save that easily on just the flooring and/or tub.

Next he skimmed over the contract summarizing what it said and gave the impression that the next wave of members was coming so we didn't have time to really read it for ourselves. In the back of my mind the words "now or never" kept whirling around as a warning. Unfortunately, the promise of one stop shopping and getting the very best deal directly prevailed. I never even heard him say this contract excluded the 3 day reversal Texas offers on such contracts! It took all that money to even get to read how badly we were taken. Sad for us.

Now with fuel prices so high we lose money just driving to the showroom and the online service is down and saying it has a security problem. When we can get to DirectBuy.com it says the phones are not working. They can call out but we can't reach them!

So we have three years to see if we can somehow recover from the tragic mistake made that day. What we can do is tell anyone who will listen that it's a real scam and to run out the door as quickly as possible. I really wish I had known about this website before stepping through the doors.
