HWA Home Warranty of America BE AWARE! This company collected $$ for the warranty but when it comes to actually providing a service, its a denial all the way. They have denied my claim even though their own service provider filed it as a normal wear and tear; they will not agree to any appeals or re-considerations. Bath Master Within 9 months of re-glazing my tub there were problems. After chasing this guy (franchisee, Jake) for nearly 3 years, he went out of business and now the head BathMaster (franchisor) will not honour the 5year warranty that is about to run out in August of 2013. The glazing cracked and bubbled and has now peeled away leaving a tub that can't be used. Another franchisee from London, Ont. says he'll fix it but to the tune of a further $440 plus tax. This is absolutely one of the worst companies that I have ever had to work with. I am not able to come up with 5-600$ to repair the mess left by BathMaster. I am recently unemployed and may have to sell my home with a crappy bathtub...now lowering the value of my home. To say the least, I am fed up with these guys and do not advise anyone to ever do business with them. Crooked as the day is long. Woodstock Ontario Author:

Colonial Home Warranty If you like headaches, buy this warranty. Great at selling - awful at paying a claim. 30 day waiting period is actually 60 for some items, though the sales person won't mention this. They are tricky and will haggle with you on any and every claim. You can cancel at anytime for a refund that has all sorts of deductions. Wilmington Delaware Author:
