Directtv Package price - Bait & Switch El Segundo, California

After 5 attempts to secure information and service requested and was connected with a manager. I selected the CHOICE package that blared savings reducing first year price to $29.99 with $20 reduction off the regular $63.99 price the second year. After additional add ons for a second set the actual price was increased to $40.99. That almost ended the transaction there as this was significantly more than the bait price splashed across advertising. Especially when the second year would end up being half again what I am currently paying with DishTV. I was told I could call back in 12 months and renegotiate to continue the $40.99 price into year two without extending the contract period. With these assurances I accepted and agreed for the CHOICE package.
 
Its necessary to activate rebates prior to installation to credit from initial invoice. When I did so the rebates were significantly less than promised. I called and was told that a lower package, Entertainment, was mistakenly recorded for activation. Details were worked out to be able to deal with applying the correct package and rebates at origionally scheduled installation date. Suspicious of the multitude of errors and ever increasing price bumps - I had them double check for the actual billing amount for the first year. Sure enough, they attempted to bump another $5 for the mistaken package difference in price.

I spoke with a manager insisting that the price for the Choice package I was quoted, and accepted, by thier manager was binding - I was not accepting this blantent bait and switch to again raise the cost. They keep insisting that the price is the price. I insist that that I want the price quoted.
