I have a contract with Direct TV for a two year bundle with Century Link that Direct TV set up, The contract was broken by Direct TV becuase they could not move us to arkansas for free as stated on thier web page and keep our bundle for reasons of location may not to provide century link or other reasons.  We never moved for cetain reasons and 6 days later tried to explain this to Direct TV and they would not re-bundle our package back with Century Link and told us they could not. I spent hours on the phone trying to get them to do so, instead they seperated the bundle and now I am recieving two seperate bills which made the bill go up close to 40 dollars because we lost the bundle deal. The person I spoke to on the phone from Direct TV explained becuase the he could not rebundle the package that Direct TV would have to void the Contratct and start over for our year promotion. 

 

I just recived a bill in the mail for a past due amount with my year of promotion up/expired and it has only been 6 months since Direct TV changed my contract because they could not get it toghether enough on thier end to rebundle my services. Plus I was told my contract would have to start over as the contract would have to be voided as it was not the same agreement to begain with as Century Link was being removed ultimately making the price go up.

 

So really I was over charged as Direct TV broke the contract becuase the emplopyee did not want to either spend the time or did not know how to rebundle my services with Century Link. My bill was 84 dollars a month for a year but it changed after 6 months of service as we were going to move but did not move than the Direct TV employee would not rebundle for us making our bill seperate 65.08 for Direct TV and 54 dollar for Century Link. This made our bill go 40 dollars a month from our original Contract. Direct TV does not and will not Compensate to make this right and all I asked them for was my Year of dicounted service which I did not recieve as it changed to this higher price and different Contract which would meant hey still owe my six months from the time they broke the original contract.

 

I spoke with Direst TV representives till I was bule in the face and angry as the one Manger named Blair Emplyee #40798 actually laughed at me and told me they were going to nothing to resolve the situations becuase according to thier records state that my year was up, Blair the manager stated that the contract never changed when it becuame unbundled and blamed it on Century LInk. I explained to Blair that I sighned only a contract with Direct TV to began with as they are the ones who Bundled me with Century LInk....no way my year is up they broke the contract after 6 months and voided and started new is what was explained to me by the Direct TV. The Contract would have to start new as it was entirely changed.  I am still owed 6 months of discounted service here and would like to recieve it. I also think Direct TV should own up to the employees mistakes and make good ont he 40 dollar difference I had to pay the last 6 months but would ataully at thei spoint just settle for the 6 months left of discounted service to make it simple for Direct TV

 

One more problem here is Direct TV is sending my bill to collectiions if I dont make payment they are overcharging me for. I really would expect a reply form a Company as Big Direct TV if the value customers the way they should and make this right.

I really do not want to go to small claims court over this small issue but it is my hard earned money they are 100 percent in the wrong.
