Discount Blind And Shade Factory ripoff took money never delivered product Chandler Arizona & Newbury Park California

I made an order for shutters back in May of 2005, with a 6 - 8 week lead time. Up to December 14 I have received nothing. I spoke to numerous employees Jennifer, jolon, Ken (1 owner), ect.

I was originally told they were a direct manufacturer, which in fact they are not. They claim one of their manufacturers went under and took 500,000 dollars in orders proving they are not a manufacturer.

I have just learned today December 14, 2005 that their building in Arizona in closed, and they have declared bankruptcy protection as per the sign on the door, meaning they are out of business.

I'm not sure what recourse we as the consumers have, but wanted to let everyone know that's why we can't get anyone on the phone.

I am turning my attention towards legal matters at this point.
