Discover Credit Card Did not honor initial offer on my credit card of a 100 dollars reward upon a 1000 dollar purchase Internet

I received and offer for a Discover credit card around May this year. the offer included a $100.00 reward with the condition that I had to purchase more than 1000 dollars within the first three month. I applied for the card in June, enter my invitation code as stated in the offer letter I received and was approved. I made the required $1000.00 purchase  within the first month and a half. So, I was expecting my reward soon. Almost three months later I called just to find out how much longer it would take, but instead I was told I did not qualify for this offer.

I was then transfer to a different department that could explain in detail why I did not qualify. They basically told me they did not have any record of my offer in the system and ask me if I had the letter with the offer invitation code. I had the letter, so they requested me to send them a Fax, so I had to go to a Staples store and fax the mentioned letter. I called later to find out if they had received the fax but they were not able to tell me.

I waited for a few days but they did not contacted me, so I called back and again they could not tell me if they had received the letter or not. The first customer representative I talk to was Maritza, who told me to include in the fax the detail "atention to Natasha Perez", her supervisor, who would receive the fax. I carefully include this on my fax, of which I have confirmation of received. when I called back the second time and they did not gave me and explanation I requested to talk to Natasha Perez and the CS REp gave me her direct phone number. I have called Natasha twice and leave her messages about my case, asking her to please contact me and let me know what is going on, but have still not received any answers.

At the beginning I was very please with Discover Card customer service standards, and had the best opinion of them, but this issue have deeply disappointed me,I still have hope that they will solve this inconvenience somehow. Unfortunately, at this time,  I will not recommend Discover to my friends and family at this point.
