 This company will take your $400.00 apprasial fee and tell you immediatley that you are approved for the loan. They will tell you they have a guarantee to close on time, but please read the fine print for the guarantee about closing(if they don't close on time they will give you money off Next time you do a loan with them).

We have a great credit score and was only using them because we were buying something out of state and our own bank doesn't do business in NY. They talk a very smooth game but they do not follow through with there deadline promises. We even went as far as having a commitment letter sent to the sellers attorney's. BUT 1 week before the close of loan deadline they started asking for alot of different information(we own our own business) things that should have been disclosed of immediatley when applying for loan.

The first time we heard of any of this was 1 week prior to closing they called to say that we could not use our business acct to make our deposit and we could not transfer the money out of that acct to another acct. Then they were insistent that we use our IRA accts to make the down payment when it was obvious that the money was in the acct that all the other fees had came out of.

The final episode was on Friday afternoon at 3 oclock they call and say we will have to do 10% more down(now we are up to $35k and $7500 closing cost) and we are suppose to close on Tuesday with banks being closed on Monday!!! We politely told them that we would take our business else where. Please do not be fooled by this company the people working there are very well trained to lie to you and spin things around so that when they don't close on time or change policy at the end of loan they make it seem to be your fault completely...and as for the mystatus site they use to send all documents through they claim they only receive them occasionally when the site sends you an email confirmation everytime something is entered.

By the way the manager called to say on Friday afternoon that they could still close on Tuesday....really nothing has been sent to the lawyers for all the abstracts to be done.......
