Discover Card's pattern of siding with unscrupulous companies; it will cost you!!! Carol Stream Illinois

On 2/18/09 I posted on Rip Off Report a problem I had with Office Depot internet order/return. I didn't mention the credit card company's name that reversed the charges, I should have. It was Discover Card. After reviewing other peoples' incident reports with Discover, there others who have had the same experiences of Discover reversing charges back to the customer after filing merchant complaints.

I've had Discover card for about 5 years and have never had to go this route with them before. I'm now a double victim with a double lesson learned from Discover and Office Depot. I don't have the inferior worthless merchandise I ordered on the internet from O.D. that I returned to them. Discover is still making me pay for what was returned. Don't ever order from Office Depot's clearance dept. Don't use Discover for internet purchases; these are lessons learned.

A representative from Office Depot personally picked up their crappy stuff from my home and took the box to their warehouse. Some of the crappy merchandise I did get credit for, and some of the stuff I returned, Office Depot claims was not in the box. All Discover sent me were copies of the original invoices of the original order and wrote they are reversing the charges back to me.
