Warning Warning Warning, If anyone has purchased Dish Network and given them Bank Debit/Credit card information..... Please Read This. I gave Dish Network my Bank Debit/ Credit card Information and they shared this with other people.

I signed up for Dish Network on Nov.14,2005 and was billed $49.99 for the "one time installation fee". Two weeks later I see a charge on my bank statement from EClub Marketing.

I did not know what EClub Marketing was, but the $19.05 charge had me puzzled. I forgot about it until it appeared again two months later.

I had been paying Dish Network every time I got their bill and had no problems.

On Feb. 7, 2006 Another charge for $19.05 was taken from my Bank Account from Eclub Marketing. After doing some digging, I came up with a phone number for Eclub Marketing.

I called the number and asked "What do you people do and why are you stealing money from my account"?

You Will love the response I got....... this lady told me that Eclub Marketing works in association with Dish Network and provides assistance with the Dish Converter box receivers, provides technical support and a bunch of other Bull XXXX.

I asked her how she got my Bank account information and that I had never signed up for this tech. support and The lady told me that Dish Network provided the Bank account information to EClub Marketing.

I told the Lady that I was going to File a Law Suit if my money was not returned. It has not been returned yet.

I looked on my receipt that I signed when the Dish Network people installed my stuff and there is no place on the receipt that said anything about a $19.05 fee for EClub Marketing.

Dish Network and EClub Marketing are Stealing money from you and me.

Beware Beware Beware..... tell everyone you know..... have them check their account to see if $19.05 is being stolen from their bank account.

I have Contacted the West Virginia Attorney General's Office and The West Virginia BBB. I have contacted Dish Network via Email and telephone and have yet to receive an explaination.

My money has been stolen,it's that simple.

Dish Network: And Eclub

AUTHOR: Brian - (U.S.A.)

Yes my name is Brian,

I work for a company out of Nashville Tennesee, We do both Dish Network and Directv satellite installations.

I want you to know that E-Club is a sham. They steal your information and claim you are getting Dish Network. E-Club takes your information passes it to Dish thus allowing you to get Dish to make it look all real. But in the background they are taking your information and commiting online fraud. America's 2nd biggest problem right behind Drugs.

If you really want to get your money back file a suit against E-Club making them lose their dealership liscense to sell Dish Network.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome! Getting your money back

AUTHOR: Manu - (U.S.A.)

E-Club Marketing is a third party retailer that sells Dish Network service. More than likely you signed up for Dish Network through them and they signed you up for a third party warranty contract (kinda like a third party warranty you can purchase for a used car). I sincerely apologize for your inconvenience, but suggest the following steps to stop any further charges:

Call E-Club marketing and let them know that you no longer wish to be charged the $19.05 for the warranty/service program. Third party retailers sell this for added commission from E-Club, which is not paid by Dish Network. Be firm and patient, but stay on the phone till confirmation has been received, this way there is no "confusion" whether you cancelled or not. Ask for the person's identification numbers (op id etc). Now ask for a refund for previous charges as you were not aware of it. They will let you know at what point they told you about the charges.

Dish Network will never share your credit card or bank information with anyone. This is prohibited and employees are not even allowed to write down a CC # or any other personal information. This was a service added on to you by the retaile that sold you the system. If you feel that they did not inform you, or that you were unaware of this, again you could contact that original retailer and they will discuss it with you. E-Club may be able to give you the retailer's phone number.

Dish Network has 24/7 technical and customer support, and you can call us anytime you need assistance (some times are busier than others) Also we have our own extended warranty program that you can sign up for anytime, it called DHPP and is $5.99 a month. If you are in an 18 month commitment, you are getting this free of charge. Dish Network does not reccommend non-Dish Network technicians to troubleshoot Dish Network equipment and your best bet is to call Dish directly at 18003333474 if you need any sort of technical help.

Also if you feel that you need the extended warranty that E-Club is offerring you, make sure you are familiar with their policies, numbers, and other information, as Dish Network will not honor that warranty.

If you have any additional questions or need further assistance with this, post a reply and I will try to answer it as soon as I can.

got them to stop!!!!

AUTHOR: Fred - (U.S.A.)

I had the same thing happen to me. What i did was call my bank and despute the charges. I explained what happen and they put me on with their loss prevention dept. It sucks but the reported my cards as stolen, reversed the charge and issued me 2 new cards. I had to wait 5 days for a new card, but it immediatly stopped the charges. Now the companies do not have my account #'s. as far as getting your money back, i am not sure on what to do. i would call the news, newspaper or ect. hope this helps some.
